How are your feet? Bet you don't pay them too much attention until you stub a toe or drop something on them*.
Here are some funky foot facts.....
Each Foot has
- 33 bones
- 26 joints
- more than 100 tendons, muscles and ligaments.
- 6 more bones than a hand.

The toes, in particular your big toe help you move and keep your balance. Having trouble doing push ups, planks, jumping, running, basically moving the way we are supposed to? Perhaps you need to take a look at your foot!
If the 26 joints in each foot have lost some or all of their ability to move, to give a little, then it makes most movements harder.
Try tiptoeing around the house barefoot. Can you do it?
Now I'm not saying that the only reason why you might have trouble walking around on tip toes is because there is something up with your feet but for today let's stay with them. (Guys, it has nothing to do with ladies wearing high heels.....)
Here are a few different ways of getting some mobility back into your feet.
And don't forget the good old rolling the your foot with a golf ball......
3 really simple things that you can do daily to loosen up those feet and get the mobility back in those joints.
Now where has that dog put my tennis ball???
*if you have injured your foot (stubbed toes, rolled ankles or even dropped something on them) please do see a health professional such as a myotherapist, osteopath, physiotherapist or chiropractor to make sure that the joints are all where they should be!
