But I like food too much...
Don’t we all.
Food is great. It’s something to look forward to 6 times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Food is something that is part of celebrations: birthdays, weddings, Christmas, Australia Day etc. It brings families together in the evenings and friends on the weekends with a bbq.

Food is a big part of how we socialise. No one wants to avoid catching up with friends or families because they are on a diet nor do they really want the guilt that is associated with eating food that isn't part of the diet.
I’ve been there, done that with diets. The stress that was associated with sticking to calories, to meal plans, to eating or not eating certain foods with other foods, the guilt that was associated with eating ANYTHING that was classified as 'bad for you' was immense. I reached the point where I hated food and had a certain list of foods that were 'safe' for me to eat. They didn't cause stress, guilt or fear. It also meant that I took food with me to any social or work event.

5 years later I like food.... I can go and catch up with friends and feel ok with having dessert, I can go to work functions and eat whatever they serve up...fish n chips, burgers, curry n rice. It no longer bothers me because I have learnt how to eat and what to eat for me to have good physical and mental health.

Food can be the best form of medicine or the slowest form of poison. Anyone suffering from IBS, celiac disease, Crohn's disease, Hashimotos, type two diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, fructose malabsorption, can attest to how much of a difference food can make to not only their physical health but also their mental health.
If you don't have a happy digestive system, then how can you have a happy body and how on earth do you think you can have a happy mind.
I like food too but I don't like how I feel when I eat too much food that makes me feel bloated, lethargic, sluggish, anxious and depressed.

If you are like me and like your food but are sick of being tired, run down, sluggish, and generally feeling a bit NQR then why not start your journey towards good health, more energy and the body of your dreams with me on February 15th when my next 12 week transformation challenge begins.
